Yo this place is my go to. I work at sharp grossmont at night so this place keeps me fat. I feel that I am doing a disservice by paying what I pay for a meal. I order from them at least 3 times a week. Their food is amazing. All their protein has flavors, there sauces have flavor. The salsas are spicy but full of flavor. You get your money's worth here. I live in chula vista and I've been going to tacos el gordo for years. They have nothing on Chuys. Diners dive-ins and drives made the right choice. You must eat here. Words cant explain.

Great place to eat. Quick service with a variety of dishes to choose from. I got the chicken rolled taco supreme. My friend recommended this place because it's well known it san diego for authentic Mexican food which I'm a sucker for. I've grown up eating nicos in ob for so long. They have great flavors or salsa to choose from and 3 toy machines. Although those are expensive 2 dollars each to play, I won a Keychain! So a kid at heart and love games. I got a horchata to go with my meal. Price can't put to be about 15. I can't say if that's good or bad I guess that depends on you. It's not something I'd pay for everyday but maybe every other week. Ok love my community!

I loved the burrito here. I got a supreme asada and it was super big and tasty. They put refried beans, rice, guac, cheese, and lastly asada. I enjoyed the salsa verde dearly I would definitely come back here.

OMG I saw totally recommend the surf and turf California burrito the large one. It’s only a few bucks difference that you could treat two or three people with it. The only thing that sucks is when you’re in a hurry and order it or the phone they don’t have any salsa ready for that you have to prepare your salsa to go I left California so I will be missing this other than that the seasoning is pretty good. The portions are good. The service is really good. I’m really picky with food and I feel like hands-down. This one is one of my favorites for the four times that I went.

It was the BEST food we’ve got so far in San Diego. The tortillas are amazing, food is huge without missing out on the flavor. This is legitimately delicious!!! Also and before I forget AMAZING service!

Absolutely love coming here. The food is always great. We usually get the shrimp Diablo and carne asada plates. This time, we also got a steak Ranchero plate for my daughter. Huge portions, always leftovers for a 2nd meal the next day. The very best part, though, is the fantastic salsa bar!!! Best taco shop around. Try it!!! Updating to say it again, best taco shop around. Posting more pics of this wonderful food.

This is easily the best hole in the wall taco shop in the area, and definitely the best and biggest breakfast burritos. I went sausage egg chz tater brekky burrito and it was excellent. Great value and heft for $13. I’m 6’3 180 and always starving, could have finished it but saved 1/3 for today and it was arguably even better. Sausage chunks large and numerous. Eggs real, deliciously griddled, and plentiful. Taters varied in size from small little crispy wedges to diced pieces and the burrito was not tater-heavy, aka not dry and not just stuffed with the cheap carbs like a fraudulent fruit salad that is 75% honeydew. Cheese perfectly balanced. Everything well mixed and homogenized throughout with tasty little sections featuring small ratio changes. The sauce bar was explosive, featuring a green and red with solid heat and charred/smoky salsa + a great tomato based salsa. If there was a thick and creamy avocado salsa I would still be there. My $3 diet pepsi can tells me the drink fridge is very overpriced, but if that’s the margin I pay over on for the value and flavor everywhere else I’m happy to yield! A resounding hell yeah to Chuy’s in an era where everyone else is happily passing their costs onto - and raking heavy profits off of - the lowly consumer.

Seen this place on tik Tok and wanted to try. We got carne asada fries, chorizo burrito, steak/egg/potato burrito and Chilequilles Verde. Everything was okay , could use more flavor. The Chilequilles were spicy but so worth it. The burritos were so big we could only eat partial.
